MARATHON—Superior Greenstone District School Board enhanced their ability to communicate with their families.
They launched their new PowerSchool Parent Portal so that now families can access important announcement, and information using the power of Edsby and PowerSchool.
The board indicated that Edsby is still their primary communication tool but they also recognize that there are limitations to the services it can provide their schools and families.
According to the Board this new platform, PowerSchool Parent Portal will allow parents, guardians and caregivers to:
- View live attendance data,
- View mid- and final report card marks
- Complete any applicable school forms online
Superior Greenstone District School Board confirmed however that Edsby will remain their main communication tool and will allow parents and guardians to schedule an absence, view board, school and class updates, locate learning resources, view assignments (when this feature is used by a parent) and communicate directly with staff.
