Halloween house decorating contest to support youth programming

Township of Red Rock holding an outdoor Halloween House Decorating Contest in support of youth programming.

RED ROCK—Its ghosts and goblin season again, and Halloween decorations are coming out of storage and placed around doors, windows of houses and front yards.

The Township of Red Rock found everyone’s Halloween decorations last year were so amazing that they are encouraging residents to participate in the township’s outdoor Halloween House Decorating Contest again this season.

Not only are they hoping to get as many households to participate as they can, but the registration fee needed to participate will be going towards supporting township Youth Programming.

Interested participants can register for $5 at the Municipal Office, which will place their house on the list of houses to be judged.

Houses will be judged by the public with a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, place winner to be determined.

Residents are encouraged to join in the fun, use their best decorating imagination and put in their entry to be recognized as one of the best Halloween themed decorated houses, in Red Rock. The contest will help support Youth Programming for their community too!
