Hearst curbside treasure hunt week starting soon

Residents looking to get rid of unwanted gently used items will be given the opportunity to do so during Hearst Treasure Hunt Week.

The Town of Hearst and Constance Lake First Nation are pairing up to forge a mining readiness strategy so they can benefit from a nearby proposed graphite mine.

HEARST—Residents of Hearst Ontario, will have the opportunity to gather up unwanted items and place them curbside during the township Treasure Hunt Week.

Residents can place unwanted items curbside from Saturday, May 21 until Sunday, May 29, 2022.

The notice posted by the Municipality to residents, stated that “Any person can collect articles, free of charge, for personal use.”

However, residents are reminded that any uncollected items must be removed from curbside by May 30, 2022.
