HEARST—The Township of Hearst reminded residents who are unable to personally vote during the 2022 Municipal and School Board election can complete an appointment of Proxy form.
With that complete the eligible elector can then have another person of their choice vote on their behalf.
Residents were reminded of the deadline by which time this Appointment of Proxy must be completed, which is Oct. 21, 2022 from the Clerk’s Office at Hearst Town Hall.
On election day Oct. 24, 2022, the forms will be available at the Place des Arts de Hearst.
In addition, the Township informed its residents that it is important for them to remember that the person making the appointment must sign the form in front of a witness and the elector appointed at the proxy must sign the form in front of the Clerk.
