A section of Highway 11 remains closed due to road and weather conditions, though other parts have reopened.
The highway is closed between Nipigon and Longlac on Sunday morning. The highway had been closed between Nipigon and Cochrane since early Friday afternoon.
Most of the region had been under winter storm warnings leading up to the weekend, with Environment Canada cautioning that falling snow and strong winds will likely reduce visibility.
The Ministry of Transportation said traffic control is in place.
