SCHREIBER -- Holy Angels Catholic School are giving back to their community with sweet treats.
Holy Angels Catholic School principal Kim Figliomeni along with her Board, expressed her pride towards the students in Grade 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and 7 and 8.
These groups of students took part in baking and making dessert trays that were then delivered to what their principal described as, “SOME of our amazing Breakfast Volunteers who have volunteered their time over the years to feed and care for us. We were so happy to give back and recognize those special people and to show our students how these things matter.”
Figliomeni described their Breakfast Club as a club that started many years ago and works under the direction and guidance of Brenda Figliomeni.
She stated that, “Over the years we have had parents, grandparents and community members come in first thing in the morning to prepare breakfast for our students before school began. Mrs. Moore has taken over running the Breakfast Club and we have been creative in keeping our students fed over the last few years.”
The school thanked Mr. Fenton, Mrs. Roy, and Mrs. Fischer, as well as all the others who helped make this activity happen.
