Holy Saviour Superior Catholic staff, students and families bring the Nativity story alive

Students create and design a part of the Christmas story before the winter break.

MARATHON -- Staff, students and families took time to organize an outdoor Christmas story walk and live nativity, before their winter break.

Each class from Holy Saviour Catholic School created and designed a part of the Christmas story and placed it on display in the outdoor trails, meant for their Christmas story walk. Families then toured the trails, and visited the animals provided to them, by the Fisher Family Farm.

Later, they all warmed up with a cup of hot chocolate served by Parent Council for their school, as they all came together to share in the fellowship of the Christmas season, by an outdoor fire.

This was truly a visible example of each partner involved in the education of these students, coming together to celebrate the Christmas story, as what the Superior North Catholic District School Board described, “as a community of Catholic learners.”
