HORNEPAYNE—Canada Day is not as far away as it seems, and the Municipality of Hornepayne is calling out for help with their own Canada Day celebrations.
Community involvement will be very important this year. Interested parties, individuals, groups and organization can be a part of the Day’s activities by offering their ideas, and help.
The municipality is seeking an interested party willing to organize and run 2022 Canada Day celebrations for the community and is willing to provide them with funding. This funding can be used for decorations, a Canada Day cake, plates, utensils and any other items needed. A small amount of the municipality’s grant funding will also be provided for entertainment costs.
They want interested parties to know that as a municipality it will still be providing fireworks for that day. Donations of fireworks will be greatly appreciated, and any help with marketing will ensure that the day will be well-attended.
