HORNEPAYNE —The Porcupine Health Unit spoke about the common questions that they get on their COVID-19 Intake Phone Line. Callers show that their primary concern is about isolation.

Since the answer to questions about isolation concerns vary, and depend on different factors such as whether or not you had two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, the Unit wanted to make it easy for callers to find the information they need to keep them and their loved ones as protected as possible.

On the Facebook page, the Township of Hornepayne featured the resources and links that their Porcupine Health Unit added for all residents to access in order to get important information and answers to their questions about COVID-19.

The Porcupine Health Unit first recommend you use the screening tool and follow the directions it gives you: General Screening Tool: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/

School and Childcare Screening Tool: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/school-screening/

Worker Screening Tool: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/screening/worker/

They also shared easy-to-use algorithms that you can use to find that answer yourself. If you need more information than what these algorithms provide, visit phu.fyi/covid-support to learn more about your situation.

At the same time, if you are used to seeing our vaccine clinic schedule as their pinned post, the vaccine schedule is still part of this post. You can also find vaccine information or book your appointment at phu.fyi/covid-vaccine. Click on our album of images to find the information you are looking for.

The Porcupine Health Unit encourages all residents to stay safe and healthy.
