Impaired charges laid by Marathon OPP

OPP laid impaired charges after responding to a broken-down vehicle along Highway 17.

MARATHON – Officers with the Marathon OPP responded to a report of a broken-down vehicle east of White River in the early morning of March 18.

OPP stated that officers quickly determined the driver was impaired by alcohol.

As a result, a 38-year-old from Mount Clemens, Michigan, has been arrested and charged with impaired driving.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the court on April 16.
