LONGLAC — Officers with the Greenstone OPP detachment responded to a complaint regarding a possible impaired driver on Chipman Lake Road on Aug. 3 at approximately 7:45 p.m.

During the investigation into the complaint, officers found a 41-year-old from Longlac behind the wheel.

They determined the motorist was impaired and had a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.

The driver was transported to the detachment, where the accused was charged with impaired driving, mischief under $5,000, and assault.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the court in September.
