Lake Superior High School hosts family night

Graduating from grade 8 represents an important education milestone. Yet for some it not only is a time for celebration and achievement, it can often be a time of transition and uncertainty. To help make the transition from elementary school to high school smoother and less stressful, Lake Superior High School is having its Grade 8 Family Night.

TERRACE BAY—For some elementary students, the end of the school year brings with it a time of transition. Often many students feel stress and uncertainty as they begin a new stage in their education journey. To facilitate easier movement from grade 8 to high school, Lake Superior High School is presenting its Grade 8 Family Night.

All Grade 8 families are invited to attend an information session either in person at the school, or virtually.

The event is taking place on April 6, at 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., and will feature important transition information for all Grade 8 students.

Families will also have the opportunity to tour the school, ask questions about programs, and meet their child's future teachers and school support staff. They can also return registration forms that evening as well.
