TERRACE BAY— Students have the opportunity to show their creativity and win prizes.
Superior North Catholic District School Board students who are learning Ojibwe have a chance to enter a fun contest by creating videos.
The Anishinaabemowin Boodawe Committee, this month, is offering students an opportunity to learn and use Ojibwe language. Students taking this program are asked to share your learning and enter a fun contest, by recording a one-minute video all in Ojibwe.
The video can be a conversation with a friend, cooking in the kitchen, sitting by the fire telling a story or whatever situation you want to share-it's up to you. The committee wants you to show your creative side.
If you are interested in entering this contest, submit your videos by sending them to: [email protected] by 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 10.
All videos submitted are eligible for a prize. For those under 18, parental permission will be required for any videos to be shared on social media.
Entrants are encouraged to contact Peter at the above email should you have any questions.
