MARATHON—Boaters are being given an opportunity to purchase their one day, three day or annual permit online.
A friendly reminder was given to boaters, asking them to purchase their boat launch passes and to ensure that these permits are visible.
Boaters will receive a free FOB with the purchase of their boat launch pass, which can be picked up at the town office.
While sending out this reminder to all boaters, the Township of Marathon also asks that they keep in mind three things:
- Make sure you respect the space and follow the rules
- Clean up after yourselves
- Store all discarded pieces in plastic bags, provided sealed tightly.
Ultimately making sure your boat pass is visible is important, so the municipality suggested your permit is placed on your dash while parked at the boat launch area.
