MANITOUWADGE — Manitouwadge High School is having their Cardboard Box races on Feb. 20 at 12:30 p.m. at the Kiwissa Ski Hill.
Participants must register at 12:30 p.m. that day.
Two divisions will make up the event. The first is for Grade 8 and under. The second division is for Grade 9.
Each team that registers is only allowed two people per cardboard box.
The race will have two races that day with the fasted times overall being declared the winner.
Races are expected to start at 1 p.m.
One prize will be given in each category for the most creative cardboard box.
MNHS also indicated that the theme for this year’s event is “Winter Olympics”.
Students interested are asked to please call MNHS at 826-3241 and leave your name at the office is they want to register early.
