MANITOUWADGE—Parents, guardians and caregivers who have children attending Manitouwadge Public School, were provided with an update regarding the procedure to follow when picking up and dropping off their child at school.

Student safety is of utmost importance to them, and they wanted to share an updated plan for pick-up and drop-off procedures. The school offered very specific instructions. Parents were informed that when dropping off their child, students are to be dropped off in the parking lot and use the sidewalk path along the front of the school building.

Staff will be outside for supervisory purposes and will greet students as they enter their respective school sites.

When picking up your child, parents were informed that, the school will be running a pickup line in the parking lot on the right-hand side of the building. Parents will enter Wenonah from Shingwauk into the entrance closest to the nursery school in a line. As parents arrive, students will be dismissed to enter vehicles.

Families are asked to then exit by the basketball court and continue out via Shingwauk; where staff will be out to support and guide this process.

If you have any questions, parents are advised to please do not hesitate to reach out to the school.
