MANITOUWADGE— Manitouwadge High School and Health Science North is offering a virtual event highlighting careers in medicine and other sciences next month.

The event runs on Wednesday, March 9 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., (CST) and invites all Grade 10-12 students from northern communities in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Nunavut to join them online for this half-day event.

Discovery Days in Health Sciences NORTH offers a glimpse into the many career opportunities in medicine and health sciences.

Participants will hear a dynamic keynote lecture given by a leader in the health community, take part in an interactive workshop of choice from a catalogue of options and join in discussion with a panel of academics and professionals. This event will also offer an opportunity for one-to-one peer networking.

Students are encouraged to talk to their guidance counsellor or science teacher to look into participating in Discovery Days in Health Sciences NORTH and discover what careers in medicine and health sciences are in their future.
