MARATHON – Residents of Nicolet Drive are being advised that water safety cannot be guaranteed due to a loss in pressure, according to a statement made by the Town on their Facebook page.

Town staff say that residents are to boil their water for one minute before consumption, brush their teeth, wash fruit and or vegetables, or make ice cubes.

Boiling water will destroy harmful bacteria in the water that may cause illness.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice, according to the press release from municipal staff.
