MARATHON — The municipality has launched a new service to help keep residents up to date with what’s going on in the community.

The new mass notification system is a service provided by the municipality that will keep residents informed of critical events like fires or boil water advisories as well as day-to-day and non-emergency notices such as road closures, planned maintenance, water main breaks, and more.

Registration for the service is now open and residents can subscribe to receive notifications via text message, email, or voice call.

The registration link can be found here, and residents are also able to contact the municipality if they have any questions about the new service.
