Marathon launches new community informational newsletter

Residents of Marathon can now see what is happening in their community at a glance. They now have a news letter known as The Marathon Minute.

MARATHON— Residents of Marathon can now access information and keep informed about the latest events, activities, emergency services, city bylaws and community Services and Recreation.

The newsletter, known as The Marathon Minute, Spring Edition is available now.

The Spring Edition features information about yard and waste management, highlighting the city bylaws related to these tasks. The Emergency Services section asks for residents interested in volunteering as a Volunteer firefighter for the community to contact their local fire chief. 

In addition, The Marathon Minute, Spring Edition gives information about current Community Services and Recreation activities such as soccer programs and Mom and Baby programming to run during the summer.

The Municipality of Marathon is happy to provide this newsletter to keep residents informed and encourage them to visit the link provided. The newsletter is also available on the municipality Facebook page.
