Marathon’s baby beginnings program resumes this September

Baby Beginnings is a program aimed at promoting the health and well being of new parents.

MARATHON: The Municipality of Marathon’s Brass Bell Family Centre is offering their Baby Beginnings program again this fall.

The program resumes on Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Margaret Twomey Public School in the library.

According to a notice posted by Brass Bell Family Centre, Baby Beginnings is a program for all pregnant moms and their partners, or parents, guardians and care givers of babies up to one year of age. It is a no cost drop-in program.

The Centre’s pre-natal programmer Jennifer Cress encourages new participants to email her at: [email protected] 

“New participants are encouraged to join(request) our private Facebook group MarathonBabyBeginnings. There will be a link posted there to provide registration information for the 2022/2023 program year,” shared Cress.

Brass Bell Family Centre’s notice indicated that, families expecting a baby, or have a child under the age of one year, are welcome to attend this program and can bring along any siblings that have not yet begun kindergarten.
