NIPIGON – There has been a change in plans for moving the Nipigon marina office building to the Bridgeview Tower.
Last month, council approved moving the facility, but Mayor Richard Harvey says, due to costs and other complications, other options are being explored.
“We are wanting to look at what the tower…what we can do for all the tourists who are being attracted to that location, so we are looking at where opportunities are,” Harvey said.
“We are open to hearing suggestions from the public on how we can actually enhance that experience, so there is more of an experience there for tourists arriving.”
Council will continue to explore other options on how to enhance the Bridgeview Tower.
