TERRACE BAY—Each year the Superior-Greenstone District School Board offers a summer learning opportunity for Superior North Catholic District School Board (SNCDSB) Grade 8 graduating students.
The program known as the Reach Ahead Program offers the student the opportunity to experience curriculum and activities that are part of the Ontario High school curriculum; and gain a high school credit.
This year SNCDSB is pleased to introduce Marie Costa who will be doing her co-op placement as support for the SNCDSB students participating in the Reach Ahead Program, this summer.
Marie has just completed her Grade 11 year, at Lake Superior High School. She has spent the past 4 years working with EQAO on a student advisory committee and plans on pursuing education in her future.
Her hobbies include spending time outdoors, photography, baking, playing sports, and coaching. Marie has enjoyed helping kids achieve their goals through her coaching, and she looks forward to supporting students in the same way through this opportunity in the Reach Ahead Program.
