Mindful eating and movement classes is focus of upcoming event

Wawa's Family Health Team and Wawa Recreation is offering a unique program to get residents moving. On April 6, 2022 it will be featuring their Mindful Eating and Movement Class, led by two well-known eating and movement professionals.

WAWA — The Municipality of Wawa Community Services Department, informed its residents that as of April 6, from 6:45-8:45 p.m., at the MMCC, it will be offering a “Mindful eating and movement class”.

Interested participants can join this free six-week program, that includes a combination of one-hour of education session and one 45 minutes of light movement.

These sessions will be run by Justine Glover, RD, and Jamie Kurk, OT, who will lead participants through and introduction of mindful eating. Miranda Patterson, Movement Specialist, will walk you through introduction to light movement and how to reconnect with your body.
