NIPIGON—The Municipality of Nipigon wants their Public Works staff know how much they are very much appreciated, and that their continued hard work does not go unnoticed.
The hard work they do for their community is very important and recently some situations have been more challenging because of rising waters and possible flooding.
The municipality Facebook page described their Public Works Department as: “Keeping a community’s rhythm moving by providing an orchestra of infrastructure services in transportation, water, wastewater, and storm water treatment, public buildings and spaces, parks, and grounds, emergency management and first response, solid waste, and right-of-way management.”
They acknowledged that Public Works staff provide the efforts needed for collaboration with all the stakeholders in capital projects, infrastructure solutions, and quality of life services.
Their announcement thanked the employees of our Public Works Department for their “continuous dedication and hard work to keep this community going.”
