TERRACE BAY -- Lake Superior High School students learned about a new scholarship program being offered by the Nawiinginokiima Forest Management Corporation.
The Corporation is offering four $2,000 scholarships to local students who have applied for college, trades or university.
Students wanting to learn more should visit the Nawiinginokiima Forest Management website, and begin completing their application right away.
According to the Nawiinginokiima Forest Management Corporation, “We are proud to offer scholarship opportunities to students in our management area who are graduating from secondary schools and/or are currently enrolled in college, skilled trades, and university programs.”
The deadline to apply for these scholarships is June 30, 2022.
As a side note, students were told that all programs will be considered, and that preference will be given to students enrolled in a GIS, forestry, or natural sciences program.
