MARATHON--Nawiinginokiima Forest Management Corporation (NFMC) is currently accepting proposals for our Spring 2023 Tree Plant Program on the Pic Forest and White River Forest management units.
According to Mathew Hodgkin, Silviculture Supervisor for NFMC, the competition will be open until Nov. 17, 2022.
In his recent notice Hodgkin indicated that, “Competition and acceptance of applications for this program will be open until November 17, 2022. If you would like more information on the program(s), tender process or NFMC`s expectations of the successful service provider, please reach out to the NFMC representative.”
Interested service providers are encouraged to review the information packages, and to determine their eligibility. Included, you will find forest overview maps, which outlines the anticipated program locations for each forest unit’s planting areas respectfully. In addition, the attached “ScheduleA_TreePlant_2023” outlines more in-depth criteria and expectations of successful candidates which will form part of the formal contractual agreement.
