Nip-Red Rock High School reschedules "Girls Rock" curling event

NIPIGON — Nip-Red Rock High School wishes to inform all students, staff, parents, guardians and caregivers, in their school community that the “Girls Rock” Curling event has been rescheduled.

The new date for this fun and exciting event will be Sunday, March, 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Port Arthur Curling Club. The Ontario Curling Council and the Women Curling Leaders, will be sponsoring this event which is free to all girls.

They wish to inform all interested participants that the first 40 girls in Grade 7 and up registered are invited to participate in an afternoon of curling skills instruction, fun and game play. No experience is required, and athletes in other sports are welcome to register and participate.

Participants are asked to bring clean runners, dress in warm stretchy clothing and everything else will be provided.
