Nipigon council discusses cruise ships

NIPIGON – Cruise ships were a hot topic during Nipigon’s town council meeting this week.

Acting Mayor Andrew St. Jean would be pleased to welcome cruise ships to Nipigon.

“Whether we were able to accept them or willing to accept them and, as you know, there has been many in Thunder Bay and a few in Red Rock,” St. Jean said.

“We are definitely willing to accept them.”

St. Jean added local businesses would definitely benefit if passenger cruise ships came to town.
