NIPIGON—This year’s Nipigon fall fishing festival is scheduled to take place Sept. 2-5, 2022, and the township is kicking off the event with a parade.
The festival committee is proud to say that this festival has been going on for six decades, making it the longest running festival of its kind along the North Shore.
This year’s parade theme is “Nipigon through the years”. The planning committee wants everyone to join in and is encouraging residents interested in being part of the parade, to chose and celebrate an iconic moment, place, person or experience from their small town, which they are proud to say is “full of character and characters.”
