NIPIGON-RED-ROCK—In the very near future, Nipigon, Red-Rock will be welcoming a Ukrainian family who will be arriving to their community in the coming weeks.
The school shared how a group of their students came together and with the help of some school community members, they made 80 dozen perogies. They also earned approximately $400 that they will be donating to a Ukrainian family arriving in Nipigon, in the coming weeks.
Students, parents and members of their school community family shared their cooking talents as they showed how much they care about this future member of their township. This activity demonstrated too their genuine care and thoughtfulness towards a family who will find themselves in a very new but extremely welcoming community soon. #NiprockstandswithUkraine
