Nipigon residents challenged to a snow sculpture contest

We all have a favorite animal or furry friend. White River's Northern Neighbor Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic is taking this idea and using it as the theme for their snow sculpture contest.

NIPIGON—What is winter without a winter carnival? The staff at Northern Neighbor Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic, invites you to join them in their snow sculpture contest.

Getting together as a group and creating a great sculpture for this contest is an activity that they want everyone to consider participating in. The Nurse Practitioner Led clinic sees this as a great opportunity for team building and for mental health.

The snow sculptures will be judged on creativity, originality and participation; with cash prizes for the winning sculptures.

For this challenge, each team will consist of two members, with one who must be 18 years of age or older. The snow sculpture must be completed between the period of March 14, at 8 a.m. and March 19, at 4 p.m. 2022.

They also stipulate sculptures must be “animal themed”, in good-taste, and an original idea from the team.
