TERRACE BAY—The Terrace Bay 75th anniversary committee has been preparing for the day they will launch the celebrations for this event.

In order to make this launch possible, the township put out a notice indicating that due to the 75th Beach Party Celebrations, there will be no boat docks and launch access. This will be the case for Friday, Aug. 19 and Saturday, Aug. 20.

In addition, residents need to be aware that for those two days, beach parking will be limited. Parking attendants will be on site to assist and direct you to parking spaces. They ask that you do not park unless assigned.

Furthermore, the township wishes to add that there will be no parking on designated areas of the Beach Rd.  Beach Road parking will be assigned by the parking attendants on the east side of the road (  near hole #9).

They ask that you do not park on the road unless you are assigned, if you do unfortunately, you will be asked to move.

For those days they will also feature “drop off points”, where residents can drop off family at the Terrace Bay Pavilion.

In addition, there will be bus shuttle service from the Terrace Bay Community Centre, which will be offering round trips. If you wish to use this service, they ask you park uptown.

The township reminds residents that there will be no access to boat launch on Friday, Aug. 19 and Saturday, Aug. 20.
