NIPIGON -- Nipigon council is now accepting nominations for this year's Citizen of the Year award.
The Citizen of the Year award recognizes Nipigon volunteers who have demonstrated all-around community involvement rather than specific activity or contribution.
Individuals who build communities and show what can be achieved with passion and determination are given this award.
Council will be presenting the award next month.
A nominee can be a youth, adult or group.
Submit your nominations by Dec. 3 at 4 p.m.
