TERRACE BAY -- As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, the North Shore Family Health Team will be switching appointments to over the phone.
The North Shore Family Health Team is informing residents starting Monday, Auguasabon Medical Clinic, J.E. Stokes Medical Center and the North Shore Family Health Team will be switching appointments to telephone where possible and pre-screen all in-person appointments by phone.
Health officials say if you are feeling any COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive for COVID or have been told you are a close contact of someone who has COVID do not come into the offices.
Symptoms are:
• fever and/or chills; OR Cough; OR Shortness of breath; OR Decrease or loss of taste or smell; OR Two or more of: runny nose/nasal congestion, headache, extreme fatigue, sore throat, muscle aches/joint pain or gastrointestinal symptoms (i.e. vomiting or diarrhea)
