Northern Tour Virtual Seniors Active Living Fair promotes physical activity

With the province lifting more COVID-19 restrictions, Ontarians have seen an increase in opportunities for physical activity. The municipality of Greenstone wants all of its seniors to know about a Senior Active Living Fair, available to them virtually in March.

GREENSTONE—The Older Adult Centre’s Association of Ontario is hosting a virtually held Seniors Active Living Fair. As funding is provided by the government of Ontario this event is free. Participation can be done virtually (with Closed Captioning) or by telephone.

This Active Living Fair is scheduled to take place March 28, and 29, from 10a.m. until noon, (EST); and on March 30 and 31, 2022, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. (EST).

Topics for these sessions will include: Freud prevention, Fire Prevention, Zumba demonstration, Tie-Chi, and Country and Western line dancing, promoting physical activity while engaging with peers and having fun.
