MARATHON — The North of Superior Health Care Group (NOSH) is still awaiting the final tally from Tim Horton's for the total funds raised through last month’s “Smile Cookie” campaign.

For the week of Sept. 19 to 25, Tim Horton’s locations across Canada donated 100% of the sales from Smile Cookies to a local cause.

The new Tim Horton’s in Marathon chose NOSH’s newly proposed 14-bed long-term care home at Marathon’s Wilson Memorial Hospital to donate 100 per cent of the sales of their smile cookies.

NOSH CEO Adam Brown was very appreciative, stating, “Our local Tim Horton's franchise was so generous in choosing Superior Health care as their donor organization this year and Tana and her NOSH her team put in a tremendous effort over the week of the smile cookie campaign so we are very grateful."

NOSH also indicated on their social media page that they are very grateful for the efforts put forth by so many who came to help, including: their NOSH staff, the Marathon Fire Department, Superior North Victim Services, Mayor Dumas, Marathon High School grade 9 students, and volunteers for their help in decorating, packaging and delivering the cookies, during the “Smile Cookies” fund raiser.
