OPP charged one individual after a traffic stop

Schreiber OPP arrests a Terrace Bay resident after refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

SCHREIBER — Officers with the Schreiber OPP Detachment were out on general patrol when they initiated a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle travelling along Terrace Heights Drive in the Township of Terrace Bay on the evening of Aug. 8.

Police arrested the driver after refusing to provide breath samples into an approved screening device.

As a result, a 69-year-old from Terrace Bay was charged with refusing to comply.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the court in Sept.
