OPP are investigating a sudden death that may have involved a vehicle on Highway 11 around the Beaver Street intersection at Long Lake # 58 First Nation (Google Street View)

GREENSTONE — Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public's help as they continue to investigate what they are currently describing as a sudden death in the Greenstone area.

According to an OPP social media post, the deceased individual was discovered Saturday along Highway 11, and may have been struck by a vehicle.

Police were dispatched to the scene at 3 p.m. 

The exact location was not disclosed, but the post states "it is possible that a vehicle may have been involved, will have front end damage, and is possibly missing a side mirror."

According to a source with knowledge of the incident, the deceased person is an adult female, and was found around the intersection of Highway 11 and Beaver Street at Long Lake # 58 First Nation.

OPP are asking anyone with information about the case to call them at 1-888-310-1122, citing incident number E231535920.
