NIPIGON — A 40-year-old has been charged after an arrest into drug trafficking activity in Nipigon.
Provincial police said an investigation began after receiving public complaints and tips, which resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for the suspect.
Police arrested the suspect, identified as Steven Mahoney, on Tuesday.
Mahoney is charged with three counts of trafficking methamphetamines.
He has been held for a bail hearing.
The charges have yet to be tested in court.
