MANITOUWADGE — One person faces multiple charges after provincial police claim an officer was threatened and a cruiser was damaged during an altercation.
Provincial police said officers responded to a disturbance on Friday afternoon near Deer and Otter avenues in Manitouwadge.
Police said during the interaction, the suspect resisted arrest, damaged a vehicle, and threatened bodily harm against a responding officer.
The 44-year-old accused is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, resisting a peace officer, causing a disturbance, and mischief over $5,000.
The accused had been held for a bail hearing but has since been released.
