HORNEPAYNE—The Porcupine Health Unit, (PHU) is sending out a reminder to parents and guardians of children in grades seven to twelve.
The reminder is in regards to grade seven to twelve students being eligible to receive the human papillomavirus, hepatitis B, and meningococcal vaccines.
PHU also informed parents and guardians that consent forms were sent home a few week ago by their child’s school.
PHU vaccine team will be at schools across the region to immunize students beginning in October.
Should parents and guardians have any questions or did not receive the consent form, they are asked to contact their child’s school.
