MANITOUWADGE -- The new recycling program start date will be delayed until next month.
The Township of Manitouwadge, after consultation with local public works staff and GFL Environment Ltd, was scheduled to implement a recycling program, starting on March 14, however, that start date has been delayed until April 4.
Regular garbage pick-up will continue as usual for this week and the weeks of March 14, 21, and 28.
City officials are apologizing for the inconvenience and want residents to know if they have any questions they can be directed to 807-826-3227 x 230.
