Red Rock Public Library Teddy Bear Picnic best ever this year

Red Rock held their annual Teddy Bear Picnic on Aug. 25, 2022 with 45 children and their teddy bears attending.

RED ROCK—Red Rock Public Library (RRPL) held a very successful Teddy Bear picnic.

The organization recently shared how successful this year’s event was on its Facebook page.

RRPL highlighted that it was their most successful Teddy Bear Picnic to date, indicating that 45 children and their teddy bears, plus caregivers and facilitators attended at the Marina.

Activities engaged children, families and facilitators in:

  • Story readings by Ella, a RRPL librarian
  • Bouncy castle set up by Red Rock Public Works Department
  • Coloring activities
  • Visiting the “Boo Boo Bear Clinic” made possible by Alicia and Jaime from NDFHT

In addition, the children were able to enjoy delicious cupcakes, teddy grahams and juice, all donated by the Friends of the Red Rock Library.

RRPL’s notice extended thanks to community partners that helped make this event so successful including Alicia and Jaime from the NDFHT for running the “Boo Boo Bear Clinic” and to the Red Rock Township Public Works Department for helping set up the picnic tables, the bouncy castle and with the clean up after.

Their local hard working librarians Ella, Ale, and Brooke were also thanked for planning and organizing the “biggest Teddy Bear Picnic so far.”

Note: An earlier version of this article misspelled the names of two librarians with the Red Rock Public Library. SNnewswatch apologizes for the error.
