RED ROCK -- Red Rock scenic lookout trail will get a face lift courtesy of community volunteers.
The Township of Red Rock plans of having a volunteer clean-up day June 25, 2022, when volunteers will meet at Red Rock Mountain Trailhead.
The goal is to get community volunteers to come out in groups or as individuals and clean the trail while enjoying a free lunch and the beautiful lookout over Black Bay, Red Rock and the Nipigon River.
The day will run from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a hike and clean-up.
Volunteers are asked to bring their own loppers and meet a Red Rock Mountain Trailhead at 10 a.m. The trail features a foot and bike path that runs along the crests and valleys of the Red Rock Mountain.
This trail provides stellar views of a variety of stunning features of this portion of Lake Superior and a great chance to sit back, relax and enjoy from any of the three platform lookouts.
