RED ROCK—The Township of Nipigon, Red Rock and Dorion, have partnered to jointly offer an information session for individuals interested in running as a candidate in the 2022 Municipal or School Board Elections.
These townships encourage anyone interested in running for office, to attend this session. The session is being hosted in partnership with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and will be held at the Red Rock Marina building Conference Room on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
Some topics will include: nomination process, eligibility rules, campaign finances, and roles and responsibilities of elected officials and staff.
These information sessions are free but, pre-registration is required, by June 22, 2022.
