GREENSTONE -- Students attending schools in the Superior Greenstone District School Board district are being given the opportunity to tap into a virtual presentation focused on trades.
The KICKSTART Your Skilled Trades Future Virtual Daytime Event initiative, is scheduled to take place on May 11.
SGDSB invites all educators to register their classes for this second annual event during which time, the focus will be on skilled trades pathways.
SGDSB is partnering with six Northwestern Ontario Boards to offer this initiative and will feature what they describe as, “live presentations and high impact career exploration media.”
Educators are directed to register their classes. SGDSB asks that when educators go to this site they must choose SGDSB and find their school name.
By registering for this event, registrants will be given access to these live sessions until the end of the school year. Resources will include: recordings of keynote speakers, a student guide and an educators guide.
