SUPERIOR NORTH—The East of Thunder Bay Transportation Consortium is informing families of school bus cancellations impacting the Geraldton-Longlac area.
The Heart bus service from Longlac to Geraldton Composite High School will be cancelled Tuesday and Wednesday, the consortium announced on Facebook.
The Tree bus going to Our Lady of Fatima, Ecole Notre Dame de Fatima, and Ecole Secondaire Chateaux Jeunesse will also be cancelled for the entire school week through Friday, Oct. 7.
Transportation coordinator Anthony Friedrich said the consortium had no comment at this time on the reason for these bus cancellations. However, he also said the cancellations are not cause for any major concern, stating “this is because of day-to-day stuff, driver shortages and things of that nature.”
