SCHREIBER—The military attack on the Ukraine sent shock waves all over the world.
On March 10, The Township of Schreiber raised the Ukraine flag at their Municipal Complex in solidarity and support for the people of Ukraine.
With that gesture, the township is sending “our thoughts and prayers to all those affected during this difficult time”. So many around the world expressed their thoughts and reactions in their own special way, be it with prayer, or by offering refuge to so many Ukraine people who fled their cities for a safe haven.
Schreiber’s mayor, Kevin Mullins, demonstrated his township’s sentiments by helping to raise the Ukraine flag. The flag raising reflected the thoughts expressed by the community “in recognizing what a difficult time this is for Ukraine and its people everywhere”.
