BEARDMORE, ON—The Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre along with Screen for Life Coach Northwest is in the Municipality of Greenstone at Beardmore Regional Health Centre.
The Screen for Life Coach will be at the Regional Health Centre on September 14, 2022.
The Screen for Life Coach offers breast, cervical and colon cancer screening.
• Women 50 to 74 years of age should have a mammogram every 2 years to screen for breast cancer.
• Individuals with a cervix who are 25 to 69 years of age and have been sexually active should have a Pap test every 3 years to screen for cervical cancer. *If you are under 25, talk with your healthcare provider.
• Individuals 50 to 74 years of age who do not have a family history of colon cancer should complete a FIT kit every 2 years to screen for colon cancer.
